Experimental design Installation
Amygdala body as archive explores the development of an alternative communication system aimed at transmitting the emotional truth of dysregulated states, particularly those triggered by the amygdala.
Focusing on nonverbal design, including movement, rhythm, and visual abstraction, it investigates how to communicate preverbal emotions like anxiety and trauma, states that are often inaccessible through language.
By combining neurobiological insights with experimental practices like asemic writing and choreography, the goal is to offer a deeper understanding of emotional experiences, bypassing traditional communication methods to convey a more authentic and embodied truth.
“The Amygdala reigns, control if its ever ours, we are the last ones to know.”
