Memoir of Love: Where Flowers Grow

Chasing the Wind: Prologue

Entrance

Here I stand Still as the grave at dusk. She wears my face, all this ache. Eyes, a dying seed Hush the crowd my colors bleed, The weight of seeing all. flowers breathe. Feared is the abyss that dwells within me. Nor do I find love within myself. Unknown light. No more sorrow I cast off the weight, Fire that frees. No longer do I crave the death that whispers. I feel the pain, as artists do. In every lifetime, As life burned, A flower unfurls Life amidst death. I have chased the wind. For where it blows I, too, shall go A grin that knows It costs to walk free. A sea of flowers still blooming, Where shadows linger And claim their hour.

Flowers Will Bloom

I carry you in each breath, Every dawn that finds us apart. I’m here My dearest love. Within the pain, I vow: All the flowers will bloom.

Tangerines

Tangerines ripen on the branch Sun-kissed light, Patient as a grandmother’s heart, Waiting for her granddaughter’s footsteps. A quiet harvest of love, Sweet and endless, Returning home Like a gentle tide.

Truth

I do not want To pay tribute to the life we lived in I want to remember the truth. On the cold days, Every moment.

Garden of Life

Love craves the fierce truth The taste of a bittersweet wound, Hungry for the ache. Silent is the storm, The pain beneath. Yet love will find me, Over and over again, Until it blooms Into the garden of life.

On Each Page

As time fades, Your words drift in Tightly, I hold them. What the rain remembers: Letters from you, All the warm memories Found on each page.

A Recall to Life

On an early summer morning, I woke to water the plant We both once cared for. Remember? You found it on the way home Clutching it tightly, Running with joy, Like a child. I remember saying, “Seeing your smile reminds me of the sea. Once I’m free, I’ll be there.” Now, thinking of it... All I want Is that view of the sea for myself Just me and the wind. If someone is willing to love me, May he stand where all my tears Turned to dust. Somehow, It could have been you. Even in the shadows, Your soul remains pure. Hold my hand for a while My dearest wish. Do you still like to hear my voice? Just lean on me. All the love I gave In the end Was only a dream. We walk in different shoes, Living lives apart. The scene ends. Fade out Remembering love. The plant we once owned has died. But it will bloom again Somewhere like a star, Sparkling in the dark, Brightening our hearts: A recall to life.

Quiet Sorrow

I light a candle With your name in it. All the quiet sorrow Sits beside me, Where no voice lives. I remember the whispering birds The hush before words. Let the rain bear witness To what hearts have sworn

Character of Mine

Whence is your soul? A shrift love, pure, A yard filled with flowers, Yea, even after death. Character of mine, Left on your chest.

First Love: His Name

He looked back once, Soft And the years folded inward, Still holding his name.

First Love: Her Name

We were fireflies, Caught in a jar Trapped in the quiet night.

Unconditional Love

Even in the shadows, your soul remains pure

Summer Nights

Never will I forget what I saw: A human, In all his beauty and misery. This memory: fragile Lies among the stars, Our beloved summer nights
